The reason why the teacher want for a minimum pages is because they want to keep the student from being lazy and make them put in time and effort. They are concerned about tightening wordy becuase they do not want long sentence they only want the importants parts.
Right--but keep in mind that some sentences must be long. The problem is if sentences are long and they repeat or don't say something new. .9
